Photographic series inspired by the life and death of eight female murderers and their victims. Me and Maria were fascinated by the phenomenon of murders committed by these women and were moved by their stories so much that we felt the need to relive them and to come to an understanding. “By such strong, excellent and fascinating photographs Jan Durina guides the viewer through his work and the viewer then becomes a part of those girls’ game.” (Anna Tretter, 2011)

“Those Girls” is a collaboration between Jan Durina and his close friend and artist Maria Cukor.
