I Was Going To Be A Great Person was created in response to a terrorist attack in which a radicalised young man shot and killed two young queer people in front of a queer bar in Bratislava, Slovakia, in 2022. It serves as a memorial to the victims of such tragic acts and as a testimony to the the lives, hopes, and possibilities that were never fully realized.
